This paper presents a tool, based on a method usingrnIDA for simulation of duct systems and MATLAB asrna pre- and post-processor, to study the controllabilityrnof VAV-systems. The focus of this paper is on howrnthe data created during the simulations are analysedrnand how criteria matrices are used to determine therngrade of controllability of the systems. The method isrntested on a set of different system configurations andrnthe result shows that it, as a whole, appears to bernviable. Furthermore, there is a discussion about howrnMATLAB and IDA are used as an integrated part ofrnthe method.
