摘要

This study aims to develop a simplified estimationrnmethod of the thermal design load and space radiantrnenvironment in order to achieve adequate and economicalrnHVAC equipment sizing and confirmation of thermalrncomfort. The author proposes a new definition forrnthe 2.5% thermal design load and corresponding operativerntemperature (OT). The 2.5% design load is thernload which occurs at 2.5% cumulative frequency ofrnoccurrence during the summer or winter months. Hourby-rnhour dynamic simulation through a year is necessaryrnto obtain the 2.5% design load and correspondingrnOT. The author developed a simplified estimationrnmethod for these parameters in the case of office buildingsrnin Tokyo through simulation analysis applying thernDOE technique.
