摘要

Surface defects of concrete bridges include rock pocket, surface voids, exposed steels, breadcrust structure, surface cave, abrasion, surface corrosion, ageing condition, desquamation, surface crack, loss corner, follow board dislocation, joint seam rough, component deformation etc. The reasons for the surface defects such as design defects and construction defects, incorrect application, defective maintenance were analyzed and several methods to mend surface defects of concrete bridges were proposed in this paper. The surface defects were mended by the fresh concrete, the sanded cement grout, the concrete agglomerant and the epoxy material. The process flow of each method and the problems needed attention of each method were described in this paper. The above methods are very useful to mend surface defects of concrete bridges and roads.
