The extension of its coal terminal by a fourth stage necessitted a new automatic sampling and sample preparation system, Samples are necessary for quality control and commercial purposes. The very high coal handling volume makes high demands on a continuous., reliable and representative sampling and sample preparation. The report describes details of engineering. The sampling system will be put into operation in the middle of year 1997.
