The co-integration analysis and Granger causal relationship test are used to analyze the relationship between the real estate investment and economic growth in Guizhou over the years 1995-2009. The results show that long-term stable equilibrium relationship exists between real estate investment and economic growth. Real estate investment and economic growth have nothing but one-way causal relationship. Specifically, economic growth generally Granger-cause real estate investment, but not vice versa.
