In paper the effect of localized surface plasmon resonance (LSPR) in composite on the basis of glycerol with multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNT) is investigated. Fabricated composites have LSPR peaks at wavelength of ??1 = 695 nm and ??2 = 702 nm. We have investigated the influence of nitrogen dioxide (NO2) with concentration in the range of 0???100 mg/m3 on the composite sample. The the wavelength of LSPR peak shifts with the change of the concentration of NO2 and follows parabolic shape curve. The maximum shift of the LSPR peak is observed to be of ???? ??? 5 nm.
