摘要

Axial compressor low-speed characteristics data arernrequired during the aero-engine low speed even startrnphase simulation and modeling phases. A method isrnprovided for the low speed compressor curves expansionrnprocess given that the high speed operating features isrnavailable. The concept of Rotation Potential (or RP)rnmethod is proposed for illustrating the alternativerndimension of compressor feature curves shown in thernpressure ratio, mass flow and compressor powerrnconsumption diagram. Simulation results and rig test datarncomparison presentation was carried out for verificationrnand validation based on single-spool turboprop andrnturboshaft engine model analysis.
