A WEB-BASED CONTROL SYSTEM

In this contribution it is shown, that the possibilities forrnthe future global management of automation-technicalrnsystems is to be increased by Internet technologies. It is,rnin addition, possible to reduce the complexity in handlingrnsuch systems. This contribution describes anrninfrastructure for remote handling of electrical drives andrntheir associated control environment. The architecturernpresented is based on “web technologies”. A descriptionrnis given of a prototype implementation called WebLAut atrnthe Erlangen Chair of Information Technologies (LIKE).rnIt will be presented by means of various scenarios on thernsimulation model.
