THis paper describes a robust control method for AC motiion drive system with two-mass mechanically-resoant load. In order to detect the load speed, a new type of observer is introduced. The alfa-parameter ultimate sensitiity method based on the partial model matching method is applied to describe three control parameters which are proportional gain K sub p, intergral time constant T sub p and load speed feedback gian K sub f, as only one parameter alfa. Moreover, fuzzy reasoning is considered i norder to determine the value of alfa, and its fuzzy rules are automatically produced. The effectiveness of this auto-tuning control scheme in AC speed servo drive system is verified and evaluated by the computer simulation results.
