Pressure Coefficient Rheometry

摘要

The viscosities of certain polymer melts signfifcantly increase at pressures above ambient. If this effect is not taken into consideration when, for instance, using CAD/CAM packages to design injection moulding tools, then consequences such as short mouldings and inferior mechanical properties may be obtained resulting in a high scrap rate and the need for expensive tool modifications.
