The success, or failure,of an ozone system based on an air supply is dependent on the quality of the air preparation. The failure of many ozone systems can be attributed to inadequate air preparation design resulting in the subsequent failure of the ozone generator and/or very high maintenance costs. The true cause of the ozone generator failure is not always recognized because the critical parameters of the air preparation components are not appreciated.
