IMPLEMENTING WORLDWIDE ELEARNING AND COLLABORATION AT THE UNITED NATIONS DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME

The speakers will illustrate the effectiveness of Informal Learning and Collaboration in a multicultural, global organization by way of sharing practical examples of Learning and Staff Development at UNDP. With a staff of 5000+, UNDP is the largest grant-based multilateral development organization and coordinator of United Nations activities in more than 135 countries worldwide. The presentation suggests that an organization must facilitate and nurture informal learning across the organization as a cost effective and direct way of improving learning and performance.
