Royalty relief is one of the premier topical issues concerningrnproducers in the deepwater Gulf of Mexico (GOM). This paperrnprovides results of a scenario analysis assessing the presence andrnabsence of the Royalty Relief Act provisions on GOM reserves,rnproduction and governmental revenues. Results indicaternsubstantive benefits to the Nation for continuance of royaltyrnrelief.
