Maximizing Scientific Return for the Hubble Space Telescope in aPost-SM4 World

In 2008, the final servicing mission for the Hubble Space Telescope will take place. Replacement of the gyroscopes and batteries, as well as the addition of two new science instruments, will keep Hubble productive well into the next decade. In addition to the hardware upgrades, improvements to the planning and scheduling process will allow for increased observing efficiency and maximization of scientific return over Hubble's remaining lifetime.
