Reading ABC:~* Tools for Assessing Reading Comprehension With AAC Users

During this miniseminar, assessment of silent reading comprehension for children who use AAC will be addressed through the application of a Whole-To-Part model of reading. Research data will be presented to illustrate the content validity of the subtests. The focus of this presentation; however, will address techniques for using the model in conjunction with reading assessment. The assessment process and the interpretation of results will be illustrated through school-based case examples.
