This study aimed to enhance the cubic effect by representingrnan image with a sense of depth using chromostereopsis, among therncharacteristics of human visual perception. An algorithm thatrnenhances the cubic effect, based on the theory that the cubic effectrnof the chromostereoptic effect and the chromostereoptic reversalrneffect depends on the lightness of the background, classifies thernlayers of the image input into the foreground, middle, andrnbackground layers according to the depth of the image input. It isrnsuitable for human visual perception characteristics, controllingrnthe color factor that was adaptively detected through experimentsrnon each layer; and it can obtain the enhanced cubic effect that isrnsuitable for the characteristics of the image input.
