The efficiency of fully-mechanized mining was influenced by the complex geological conditions because there were hard rock embedded in coalseam. The Polodyakonov coefficient of the rock range from 9 to 11. Through analyzing the structure of the rock, it would reduce the strength of the rock by use the method of the loosen blasting. Under the effect of stress wave and gas generated by powder explosion, the rock around the borehole is divided into three regions based on the theory of rock blasting. These parts are crush zone, crack zone and elastic vibration zone, respectively. To achieve the desired result, the blasting parameters should be designed reasonable and the rock pressure should be taken into account After blasting, the fracture cracks were stimulated and more cracks appeared around the borehole. The application shows that the zone acted by the explosion load was weaker than before, and it had improved the efficiency of fully-mechanized mining.
