By inserting a Borehole Endoscope beforehand charging explosives, could be sought overall status of boreholes and found weak points such as fractures or direction of joints. So it is possible to reflect weak points on some blasting work. In this study, using borehole endoscope to find typical weak points of boreholes first and considered each borehole condition to reflect blasting design. Each faulty zone, located in the interval of charge where in a mine, was replaced air deck charge method by self support Air-Tubes. Reduction of charge with overall improvement of blast effects and economic benefit occurred. Thus this study has shown new possibilities throughout small-scale blasting to large-scale in limestone mine.
