A spectral investigation was carried to study the complex structural transformations at the molecular and atomic level for the phase transitions of mesogenic media. We find out correlations between changes in the structural and in the molecular conformations of substances which can form the liquid crystal phase. The comparison of results of these investigations and of similar investigations on MBBA shows that the mechanisms of structural transformations in such substances are general. Moreover, it is possible to conclude that structural transformations in MBBA and ABT are accompanied by modification of twist-angles between the surface of benzene ring and the surface of CHN bridge group. As it follows from our investigation the ABT exists at T=300 K in polycrystalline form. The interactions between fullerene (C_(60)_n caused the molecular conformations in ABT: the changing of the angle between planes of the benzene ring and CNH - bridge. This result show a significant activity of fullerene clusters (C_(60))_n in intermolecular interactions. This result allows to hope to use such interactions to create fullerene liquid crystal devices.
