Emerging quality monitoring trends for OTT IPrnvideo delivery include the capabilities to identify everyrnactive viewing session. This provides the opportunity forrnvaluable new quality assurance metrics that enable thernVideo Operations Center to correlate both the end-to-endrnoperational and performance status of the distributionrnnetwork with the numbers of viewers, geographical areas,rnand assets impacted. This presentation will discuss keyrnmetrics such as those recommended by the SVA (StreamingrnVideo Alliance) and techniques that have proven mostrneffective in leveraging both viewer abandonment and otherrnbehavioral data with startup, buffering, and otherrnperformance operational data for optimizing the prioritiesrnand therefore the efficiency of any video operations center.rnBy intelligently consolidating these new measurements, thernoperations center can properly prioritize the reporting ofrnoperational impairments that impact the most viewers, thernmost valuable assets, the newest service offering, etc., orrnalter the optimization based on dynamic businessrnrequirements.
