Superconducting contacts to a two-dimensional electron gas

摘要

Metallic tin-based contacts to a GaAs:AlGaAs heterostructure were made using rapid thermal annealing.the contacts were superconducting at low temperature,and had a relatively high critical magnetic field,allowing the observation of Andreev reflection at high field.The microstructures of the contacts have been examined using cross-sectional transmission electron microscopy.
