摘要

Integration of renewable energy into grid is increasing rapidly world-wide. Though renewable energy has a good impact on environment, integration with grid weakens the system strength when fault occurs. This study shows the effect on grid system strength at various renewable energy penetration level under fault conditions. The result indicates that the system strength of a grid under high wind power penetration decreases significantly. This paper also shows a possible solution to improve system strength in this situation.
