摘要

The excitement of students at all levels over robotics makes using robots in classroom activities an attractive proposition. There are several challenges in implementing robotics as cost effectively as possible and within reach of students at appropriate age levels. In addition, the activities must be tied to learning objectives and must be well-structured through rigorous classroom planning. We report our attempts to use a programmable robot in an 8th grade math class. We highlight learning objectives, illustrate lesson plans, and report student outcomes for three class room activities.
