This photo was taken in 1930 and if you direct your attention to the MacDonald Hotel on the bottom right hand side, you will see just how much the downtown core has grown. Edmonton has experienced significant growth over the last 100 years and it is time we look at how we are going to keep our existing assets at an acceptable level of performance and plan for future infrastructure stewardship.
