The Interaction Mechanism between Venues of Sport Events and Urban System Based on the Context of Life Cycle

It has great theoretical and practical significance to explore the interaction mechanism between venues of the international mega sport events and urban system, within the context of life cycle to conduct the events successfully and improve post-development of venues better. With the case of Qingdao Olympic Sailing Center, this paper uses the case study, discursion as the methods, project management theory, diamond theory and industry clusters theory as the basic theories to analyze the measures, ways and basic theories of the interaction mechanism between venues of the international mega sport events and urban system previous, during and after the events. Meanwhile, the conclusion is given that venues spur development of the cities by the relative industries, and urban system makes sure venues constructed, maintained and developed successfully depending on the relative industries based on the context of life cycle.
