The aim of the paper is to propose a remote learning model based on an appropriate environment to apply a learning scenario built on ‘Open Ended laboratory’ method. The main objective of the work become ‘to create a test bench for an inter and trans disciplinary topic around diesel electric traction’ and to implement it in a remote learning model. The engineering topic is to analyze, trans- and inter- disciplinary, the harmonic distortion of the armature currents of a synchronous generator during the co-operation with a power system which is simulated the operation of a diesel engine. The numerical environment is calculus in Matlab and the remote environment is Google Classroom platform. The purpose of this analyze is to offer an example for future works projects, developed on open ended laboratories scenarios. For been used even in distance learning, the finality of the paper is the remote learning model of this topic.
