摘要

ETNB has been proposed as a suitable alternative to TNT in low sensitivity melt-cast formulations. Characterization of synthesized ETNB was carried out by NMR, DSC, and sensitivity and detonation property analysis. The melting point of ETNB(78~80°C) is almost the same as that of TNT( 78-81 °C). ETNB was found to have 52bar of shock sensitivity and 6.4kmls of detonation velocity (DV). Sensitivity and detonation properties of ETNB based melt-cat explosive formulation such as ETNBINTO and ETNB/NTO/RDX were investigated.
