MULTIMEDIA CONFERENCE CALL IMPLEMENTATION MODEL

摘要

The paper presents a study on third party application control of conferences in next generation networks. Open Service Access (OSA) conference call interfaces are examined and state transition diagrams for application view on the conference call object and the sub-conference call object are developed. Aspects of OSA control on Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) conferencing are discussed. Application view on conference participant's state is mapped onto SIP state machine. An implementation model of SIP based OSA service capabilities server supporting conference calls is presented.
