Local Stress Analysis of Single Tower Cable Stayed Bridge with Spans of 100+70m

摘要

The bridge analyzed is a highway and light-railway bridge with the spans of 100+70m, whose pier, tower and beam are consolidated together. It is also a single tower cable stayed bridge. The stress state at the location of consolidation is complex, and it can threat the whole safety of the bridge. In order to study the stress state of the location and to verify the safety of the bridge, the model of the entire bridge and local model of at the position of the consolidation are built. After that, the relevant internal forces are read from the model of the entire bridge, and then transformed into equivalent loads applied to the local structure model. All of the results are under the load case where the bending moment of the main span of 100m is the largest under the basic combination. The local analysis results show that the stress state of the consolidation is reasonable and safe.
