摘要

The bucket elevator is a device that is specially used for continuous vertical conveying of bulk materials. It has features such as high lifting height, small footprint, and large conveying volume. However, the phenomenon of backflow during transportation will reduce the transportation efficiency. The main design points are casing, head wheel, shell, etc. The throwing of different shapes of buckets is simulated by using EDEM software. Finally the best bucket is determined, and it reduces the backflow, which help improve the transmission efficiency. At the same time, during the design of head sprocket part, the shape of the best case can be determined according to the situation of the sprinkler. The improvement of the bucket elevator structure and the optimization effect of the model are achieved.
