Making an appropriate production plan in a production network environment is not easy regarding the coordination between facilities and transshipment. This paper presents a case study of a production network modeling for a fresh fish product producer, with the cutting process as the main task in the filet production. Because the cutting process produces coupled finished products with respect to specific cutting pattern. Objective product will be produced together with its bi-products, which are also profitable. The paper proposes a mixed integer linear programming (MILP) model aiming at maximizing the profit under the condition of meeting the demand, in consideration of product profit, labor cost, transshipment cost, and transshipment time. The model is validated with real data from the producer.
