摘要

The objective of this work was to develop an oral colon specific delivery system of celecoxib. To achieve this aim, the drug was entrapped into chitosan chitosan-Ca Ca-alginate microspheres, to exploit their pH pH-sensitive pro properties and perties specific colon biodegradability. Microspheres were prepared by ionotropic gelation. The influence of four formulation variables, I.e. Alginate, CaCl CaCl2 and chitosan % and cross cross-linking time on their entrapment efficiency and on the drug amount re released in the colon, was studied leased with a Doehlert experimental design. The response surface plots allowed simultaneous evaluation of the influence of the selected factors on the analysed responses, and selection of their most suitable values to reach the de desired goals.
