The Use of Saturation Diving Techniques in Support of Pressurized Tunnels

Hyperbaric conditions allow for increased access to the components of tunnel boring machines which are subjected to pressure from the surrounding soils and groundwater. This paper will briefly discuss some of the options and considerations when considering or being prepared to use Compressed Air Workers.
