The presented paper shows how temperature field has the influence on vibrations of beams. Due to the relatively small temperature differences we have supposed that fundamental thermomechanical values are constants such as modulus of elasticity, Poisson number and shear modulus. We have studied clmped-clamped beam, supported-simply supported beam, clamped-simply supported beam and clamped-free beam. The detailed analysis shows, that also small changes of temperature cause significant changes of natural frequncies for beams. The comparison between our analytical model and experimental data shows good agreement, In the presented paper is possibly to find for the first time in scientific literature the combination of statistical thermodynamics and theory of vibration at the same time.
