INTERACTIVE PROJECTIONS IN CLASSROOM

The Information and Communication Technology (ICT)rnhas a key role in schools and teaching methods. The usernof interactive whiteboards is one of the technologies thatrnhave increased in the last years. Now students make notesrnin digital format instead of the notebook, allowing greaterrnsharing of resources and ideas between students and teachers.rnHowever, the solutions offered by major manufacturersrnhave a high price, limiting access to these resources to arnlarge number of educational institutions, so it is necessaryrnfound cheaper solutions. One such solution is the WiimoternWhiteboard presented by Johnny Lee that allows anyone tornhave a low cost interactive whiteboard using only the Wiimoternand an infra-red emitter. Based on this technology,rnwe developed three applications to support classes for usernin combination with the Wiimote Whiteboard. These applicationsrnwill be described, showing the main differencesrnfor identical solutions in the market, as well a new way developedrnto control the computer at distance.
