Purification of contaminated water using solar tracking panels and polypropylene disk

摘要

Water is the most essential source required for the existence of all living things. Nowadays the water we drink is polluted and contaminated, which leads to lot of health issues. Most of the present technologies available in the market are trying to combat this problem. But, the purifier available in the market are costly, power consuming, wastage of high amount of water, filters all minerals available in pure water and also require periodical maintenance. The purifiers, which do not use any extra power are either very expensive or need regular maintenance. There are several chemical processing mechanisms which are available for purifying the water but, if we use improperly it is hazardous. So in this project we decided to use the natural resource available to us in the form of solar energy. In this project we use solar tracking plates and black polypropylene disk to purify water and set up a water purity scale at the end of the purifying process.
