Research on construction mode of urban eco-network system based on multi-dimensional planning

With the rapid progress of urban expansion and renewal, there are increasing numbers of stereoscopic spaces such as high-rise buildings and viaducts appear in city. The two-dimension construction for urban ecological planning which only considers width and breadth is not a thorough system and network. In order to adapt to the development, space and time dimension should be introduced into the urban eco-network planning to make it multi-dimensional and effective. Base on architecture, urban planning and landscape ecology, the basic patterns about two-dimension construction for urban ecological planning are described. Then the multi-dimensional patterns of urban ecological planning construction are discussed in this text, as well as its construction mechanism, that the components of the urban eco-network can be “virgin-symbiotic-regenerated”. In the end of the text, some applications in practice are illustrated. The multi-dimensional pattern for urban ecological planning and its construction mechanism proposed can be used for planning and construction.
