摘要

A numerical-experimental vibrational approach for the elastic identification of thin isotropic plates of any shape, with free boundary conditions, is proposed. The procedure is based on an optimization process that determines the values of the unknown elastic parameters by minimizing the difference between the resonant frequencies of the plate under examination calculated with a numerical model and those measured experimentally. The effectiveness of the procedure has been investigated by means of a series of numerical simulations carried out on plate models with contours of different shapes.
