Plant quality and quantity are influenced by environmental and fertigation factors. Hydroponic cultivation gives the opportunity to control root environment and thus to have an overall plant control and product management. One of the most important factors of root environment for quality management is the consistency of nutrient solution. Plant nutrient requirements are determined by the stage of development and climate parameters. The relationship between climate parameters and changes in nutrient requirements, in addition to the effects on quality, will lead to nutrient and quality management.
