The value of the material transfer can be increased in a large extent by pairing "asymmetric" contacts. Results are achieved by pairing the Ag - AgCdO and Ag - AgNi contact materials. Investigations are carried out by contactors at pairing of different contact materials. The influence of the opening speed and the arc chamber on the material migration.
