A new scheme of spherical pellet injection is proposed to minimize the thickness non-uniformity of the adhesion layer, which is composed of mist materials in the. reactor chamber. The pellet is rotated such that the angular momentum vector makes a specific angle with the injected direction, and in addition, precession is utilized to achieve uniform thickness of the mist materials over the entire spherical surface. Although the treatment of the present system is quite classical, where the rotation is described in terms of the Euler's equation, the outcome on the optimized condition required for an idealized pellet injection is rather new from a reactor-engineering point of view.
