This paper focuses on the knowledge management (KM) requirements of enterprises in the perspective of KM process. Firstly we analyze some important KM issues. Then we propose a conceptual model which consists of three layers: KM requirements, KM processes and knowledge management system (KMS). We explain this model in detail and especially emphasize the IT support on KM implementation. Finally we suggeste some research contents in future.
