Wavelets and differential-dilation equations

摘要

In the paper a wavelet is constructed starting from differential-dilation equation. It has compact support and excellent time domain and frequency domain localization properties. The wavelet is infinitely differentible and therefore cannot be obtained using digital filter banks. New sampling and differention techniques are also introduced.
