The comparative analysis of the operational processes realized in A.I. Leontiev's tubes and in vortex tubes, where the resultant process is the separation between streams of cool and warm ones, according to the amount of the total enthalpy. The analysis of the dependence of energy separation on the chemical nature of the gases used as a working fluid as well as on Prandtl's number and Lennard Jones's potential is made. A distinction in the physical heat nature of the considered processes of energy separation of variousstreams of compressed gases of various natures is shown. In the first case, fundamentally, it is necessary to consider heat exchange nature of energy transfer, in a vortex tube it should be a cyclic nature.
