There are all kinds of complex relationships in daily life, and no individual can exist alone without surrounding relations. If analyzed from the perspective of mathematical model, all complex systems can be represented by complex networks, such as social networks, transportation networks. There are many dynamic behaviors in complex networks, such as bifurcation, chaos and oscillation. With the further research, we find that synchronization plays an important role in the study of complex networks. The research on synchronization can be divided into several stages: synchronization of chaotic system, synchronization within network, synchronization between multiple networks and synchronization of multi-layer network. The research of complex network synchronization control has very important theoretical significance and practical value in many fields.
