Wildfires have significant contributions on O_3 and PM_(2.5) concentration increases, both in present and future climate. The maximum values of domain increase due to wildfires can be as large as 175 ppb for hourly O_3 and as large as 1293 μg/m~3 for daily PM_(2.5) in WUS during 2003-2010. Such increases are also simulated in the future with the emissions projected from 2005. The maximum domain increases could be as much as 102 ppb in hourly O_3 and as much as 259 μg/m~3 in daily PM_(2.5) during 2050-2059.
