The problem of Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) for photovoltaic (PV) arrays is addressed. The considered PV System includes a PV Generator (PVG) connected to DC Bus using a DC/DC Converter. Unlike standard PV systems, the used static converter is of the series resonant type (SRC). Indeed, this latter optimizes the power losses during the switching phases. The proposed output feedback control is a robust nonlinear controller, based on Nonlinear model of PV System, ought to be able to instantaneously determine the maximum power point (MPP) when solar irradiance and temperature are measurable. It is formally shown that the developed controller actually meets the MPPT objective. These theoretical results are confirmed by simulation.
