Bioimpedance Monitoring of Dialysis Patients During Ultrafiltration

In this article the features of the developed device for bioimpedance analysis with an active electrodes and the results of its verification during ultrafiltration in the hemodialysis are described. The correlation between bioimpedance on 20 and 500 kHz frequencies with a profile and speed of ultrafiltration during hemodialysis is illustrated. The aim of the experiment was to determine the possibility of using the device for bioimpedance analysis to assess the dry weight of the patient and to monitoring of his functional state during the procedure.
