Nucleic acid structure-based enantioselective catalyst has become a novel research fieldbecause of its diverse tertiary structures,chemical stability,and easy handling.1,2 Since a duplexDNA-based biohybrid catalyst has been developed and demonstrated the excellent reactivity,the effort to expand the reaction reservoir and investigate new biomolecular scaffolds has beenmade.G-quadruplex structures have recently raised much interest to construct DNA hybridcatalysts.3 In this study,we developed G-quadruplex DNA biohybrid catalysts containingbipyridine ligands and various functional moieties and explored conformational properties,metal-binding ability,and catalytic performance.
