Poly(oxazoline)s have been widely studied in the field of biomaterials because of theirhigh biocompatibility contributed by the repeating amide groups that is analogous tobiomolecules of polypeptides.On the other hand,optically active poly(oxazoline)s areexpected to be used as asymmetric catalysts or asymmetric reaction fields,and studies on thesynthesis and higher-order structure of various optically active poly(oxazoline)s are beingactively conducted.
